She runs her own design business, Orchard View Color. Theresa is also active in her local photography and digital arts community, showing her work in galleries around San Diego County. She is a frequent speaker, workshop presenter and judge for other groups in San Diego, including the International Photography exhibit at the San Diego Fair. Theresa has won two Photoshop Guru awards from Photoshop World in the Artistic Category.

For over 28 years Dave Cross has been helping photographers and creative professionals get the most out of their Adobe software. Since1987, Dave has taught Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to thousands of users around the world. He has a Bachelor of Education, is an Adobe Certified Instructor and is a Certified Technical Trainer. Dave has taught for Adobe, at Photoshop World, the Texas School of Photography, Adobe MAX, Imaging USA and at numerous corporate locations. Dave has written many articles and multiple books, co-hosted Photoshop User TV and has taught online courses for Kelby One, Creative Live and Photoshop Cafe. Description: Martin Bruinsma explores tips and techniques that you can use to create eye-catching images. (Feel free to bring examples of images you’d like to figure out)

Speaker Bio: Martin Bruinsma attended UCLA  as a Psychobiology major and graduated from Art Center College of Design with a BFA in Illustration. 

He has worked for dozens of entertainment ad agencies as a staff member or freelancer and used photoshop to build and finish movie posters and other entertainment collateral.  He has been hired for celebrity retouching,  as a background artist for video games, design and creation of album cover art, and has worked with surgical teams to create medical illustrations.
 
He is  currently focused on a series of paintings on canvas rooted in the sensibilities of Film Noir.Please come to see his work at Lois Lambert Gallery in Bergamot Station in Santa Monica. The show opens Saturday, July 14  and runs until September 1.

Fuse and Photoshop Integration For Digital Artists With Adobe presenting some wonderful upgrades in a variety of areas in Photoshop Stephen Burns will share how to use the new 3D tools from Adobe Fuse for creating an artistic concept environment. The first half of the presentation we will use the power of Adobe fuse to create our main character. You will learn not only how to create, cloth and texture yout 3D character but also how to apply animation to be used in your concept art scene. In the second half of the presentation Stephen will create the environment using a combination of photo bashing an digital painting. Come and enjoy as Stephen shares what is possible in Photoshop.

 

Speaker Bio: Stephen Burns (www.chromeallusion.com) is a digital artist and author of books on being creative with your digital tools.  He is an Adobe AEL (Adobe Educational Leader) and Adobe Freelancer and has taught digital creativity internationally.  He is an Instructor at Otis School Of Arts & Design.  He is also the president Of The San Diego Photoshop Users Group (www.sdphotoshopusers.com) which is currently the largest Adobe Photoshop Users group in the country.

He is guest writer for a number of magazines to include the feature article and front cover of Photoshop User Magazine (http://www.chromeallusion.com/articles_index.htm).   In addition, Stephen is the author of the following books (http://www.chromeallusion.com/books.htm):

He has discovered the same passion for the digital medium as he has for photography as an art form. His background began as a photographer 28 year ago and in time, progressed toward the digital medium. His artistic influences include the great Abstractionists & the Surrealists including Jackson Pollock, Wassily Kandinsky, Pablo Picasso, Franz Kline, Mark Rothko, Mark Tobey, and Lenore Fini, to name a few.

Stephen Burns has been a corporate instructor and lecturer in the application of digital art and design for the past 20 years internationally. He has been exhibiting digital fine art around the world at galleries such as Durban Art Museum in South Africa, Citizens Gallery in Yokahama, Japan, and CECUT Museum Of Mexico to name a few. Part of his exhibiting won him 1st place in the prestigious Seybold International digital arts contest.

Rick is going to show us how he uses Lightroom as an essential part of his photographic workflow. He will discuss developing your personal best practices workflow, Raw vs. JPEG, color spaces, virtual copies, Maps, working with video in Lightroom, tethered shooting, and more.
Speaker Bio:

Rick Miller is a professional photographer, digital imaging expert, and professor at USC who worked at Adobe Systems from 2007 until June 2014 as a Senior Solutions Engineer where he helped Adobe’s education customers find the software solutions they needed for teaching, creativity, and productivity. Rick use to own and curate the Surf Club Art Gallery located in the heart of Hollywood.

Before working at Adobe Systems, Rick taught Photoshop/Digital Imaging at the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and Digital Design at Cal Poly Pomona University. Rick is an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat, and Adobe Connect. Additionally, Rick is certified on the Leaf and Phase One digital backs and is an expert in color management. Rick has consulted with Law Enforcement agencies in the Forensic application of Photoshop.
