Description: Martin Bruinsma explores tips and techniques that you can use to create eye-catching images. (Feel free to bring examples of images you’d like to figure out)

Speaker Bio: Martin Bruinsma attended UCLA  as a Psychobiology major and graduated from Art Center College of Design with a BFA in Illustration. 

He has worked for dozens of entertainment ad agencies as a staff member or freelancer and used photoshop to build and finish movie posters and other entertainment collateral.  He has been hired for celebrity retouching,  as a background artist for video games, design and creation of album cover art, and has worked with surgical teams to create medical illustrations.
 
He is  currently focused on a series of paintings on canvas rooted in the sensibilities of Film Noir.Please come to see his work at Lois Lambert Gallery in Bergamot Station in Santa Monica. The show opens Saturday, July 14  and runs until September 1.
