Copy will not be read unless the type looks irresistible. Intrigue readers by creating a tantalizing page composed with rhythm, scale, shape and space. Make your readers beg to purchase, sign up, or join your cause. All with typography.

TypeEd instructor Michael Stinson will demonstrate how to improve readability by approaching design with a typographic mindset and developing a system that entices people to read. The topics will be demonstrated using InDesign, but the fundamentals can be used to achieve good typography in any situation, whether in print or on screen.

Speaker Bio: Michael Stinson is a cofounder of TypeEd [http://type-ed.com] and Creative Director at Ramp Creative [http://www.rampcreative.com].
